Hi,
I have been trying to Install Resolve 17 (the free version) on a windows 10 PC without success.
The previous version of Resolve worked without any major issues.
I have added screenshots of the error messages I get when trying to Install Resolve.
How can I solve this issue?
Thanks.

Where did you download from? This is BMDs download page with the installers in the left hand column, which you can scroll down to find the version you require.
https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusionAs an example, this is what the download of the 17.1b10 zip file looks like. As you can see it is a .exe file.

Yes, that is the one. It should install without problems. In your earlier pic it shows the source drive as D:. I always put the downloads on my system drive C:. I have never seen a request for a CD ROM.

Yes, my downloads folder is on the D: Drive. Do you think that if I download the software to the C: drive and install it from there It should avoid this issue?
Do you know of direct support from BMD on issues such as this?
Many Thanks

You will only get direct BMD support if you are using the paid Studio version, otherwise the forum is the place to go.
As to your D: drive, is it internal or external? If external, try coping the installer to your C: drive and installing from there.
