All images not grouped into 1 image sequence

I have 14 images in 1 folder, all images are named 'holiday.0001.jpg' though to 0014. I have resized all images to a common size of 1000x667. The images were a mix of different sizes and orientations. I used IrfanTool to resize, crop & add black borders. I then used 'Exiftool' to change the 'orientation' tag for some images to 'Horizontal (normal)' which helped Resolve recognize them as Landscape.

In Resolve 'Media' tab, I have 'Show Individual Frames' unchecked. And I don't get 1 contiguous image sequence instead I get 4 different sized sequences:

resolve_imgseq.jpg
resolve_imgseq.jpg (57.41 KiB) Viewed 734 times

Any thoughts on why this occurs?

File extension varies. Some are .jpg, some are .JPG

Well, who would have thought that a 'jpg & JPG' extension would have made a difference? Windows don't care but Davinci does

Just another process to take care of before importing files ...

Thanks for the help Hendrik!

DaVinci cares for three different platforms.
