Aux tracks routing to Submixes

Hi,

I can't seem to find a way to have reverbs for different submixes (i.e a set of reverbs for different stems).

Upon creating a sub the option I have is to send it to masters, I want to avoid that to be able to listen and print the stems individually.

In a nutshell, I'd like to send my aux tracks to submixes, and then send those submixes to my masters.

Thanks,

Olivier.

The Monitoring panel provides the option to audition individual Busses/Stems.

Individual Busses are selectable via Timeline > Bounce Mix to Track.

Stems are printed to new Timeline Tracks and deliverables saved to the target directory specified in:
Project Preferences > Capture and Playback > Capture > Save Clips To

In a nutshell, I'd like to send my aux tracks to submixes, and then send those submixes to my masters.
There is less restriction in terms of routing with version 17's Flexi Bus mode.

Hi Renaud,

Thank you very much for this reply.

I had no idea about this Bounce Mix To Track feature ! So I can print all my stems simultaneously. What exactly is a Timeline track ? Feel free to tell me to go find the info in the manual if it can't be summed up quickly.

The Flexi Bus mode is only available in the Studio version, correct ?

Thanks a again,

Olivier.

An Audio Track on the Timeline.

Prior to creating a new Timeline in a new Project, the following preference may be enabled:
Project Preferences > Fairlight > Audio Busing Mode > Use Fixed Bus Mapping

The default for new Projects in version 17 is Flexi Bus mode.

Renaud,

Thanks a lot, so Timeline track is pretty straightforwardly named...

I created this project before Flexi buses were introduced so I guess I will have to rule this out.

Alternatively, patch the Aux Buss to a Timeline Track and route it to the Sub Buss.

Put the Timeline Track in “Thru” mode via Path Settings.
