[BUG] Deliver timeline - in/out

PostSat Mar 06, 2021 1:39 am

Why the timeline, can't put the OUT_point where I press OUT, now it takes the NEXT clip and put an outpoint!

update - Hmm, I just tried it and "add to render" then the problem stopped. It is like it is only when you land on the deliver page, the problems start... But it ADDs a frame on the OUT point to the clip, doing this!

Yeah- I had to do 40 clips manually to get the right cuts!!!

The playhead always looks forward, so if you move the playhead to a cut point, you're not seeing the last frame of that clip, but the first frame of the next clip.

Does that explain things any?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Jim's answer is correct. You need to settle down. I'd strongly advise you read the entire manual and go through the tutorials first, and a lot of this will make more sense. Many of your questions (particularly something as simple as an in/out point on the Deliver page) are covered in the textbooks and manuals -- and they're free.

I am making these posts, because the program stinks and are not logically, it is fine if you all think I am an *******, but I am sure you havn't even made 100 individual clips, and you need it 100% in-out and NOT 15 more frames to the clip!!!

So you have another default for in/out points than this:

The 'In' point is the beginning point (frame 1) of the video clip that you want to use. The 'Out' point is the end of the clip that you want to separate from the remainder of the footage. So OUT is the LAST frame of the clip. Right now in deliver page - the OUT point is the LAST frame +1 extra frame.

AND the in point to "INDIVIDUAL clips" are +15 extra frames (even though you didn't ADD extra handles)

To ME this is a BUG - not because I should read a manual as the idiot you think I am!!!
