I updated from 16.2.4 to 17.0, after installation there was no footage to see, just black. Next step i updated Nvidia driver to 457.30 (probably gamer version) and i could see the footage, but did not move ...
Went back to 16.2.4 and installed new with new driver download 457.30 (probably studio version) and the system started to run. Fine! But starting the computer the next day, resolve didn't run. In the middle of the starting sequence a message popped up: a TDR has been detected
Searching for that problem i found a workaround by changing TDR from 2 to 8 and resove started again ... but slowly i recognized that it had problems playing h264 footage (freezing frames..) and taking a fusion effect (moving over a photo) took hours to appear in the editing timeline (rendering).
I read in some forums that Nvidia has made this driver 457.30 for GeForce GPUs, is My GPU too old ???
Can anybody give me any advice?
