Hey Friends, I'm trying to work with a footage of my sony a7s and I'm having some weird flicker problems.

I'm new in the world of filmmaking and I understand that this might be pretty comum mistake for beginners, but i would very much appreciate if someone could analyze my footage and help figure out what is going on and how to fix it.

I was using a Sony Alpha 7s Mark 1, was filming at 1920x1080, at 60 fps with my shutter at 1/125.

To edit I'm using the Davinci Resolve 17 Studio
In a timeline with 24 frames, and the footage was slowed down something around 40-50% of it's normal speed. I'm using the Retime Process Optical Flow with the Motion Estimation at Enhanced Better.

Here is a link of some footage https://youtu.be/xBY05pdIiXw

Thanks guys so much. =)

If you’re filming at 60fps, you should shoot at 1/60th of a second - especially if you’re using the footage for slowmo.

When shooting outdoors, obviously you need to go to a lower ISO, and probably add an ND filter to further reduce the light coming in.

Hey friend, I didn't know i had to plan my slowmo in câmera, thank you for this tip.

I did some footage in 60fps with 1/125 shutter that i slowed down to 8 frames per second and it turned out great.

How can i know when it will work or not? There is a formula to make this math?

I was using a low ISO setting and a ND Filter. :(

Thank you for your reply.
