Super Scale and ctrl-a

PostMon Mar 08, 2021 11:01 am

is it correct that clip attributes for all clips of a timeline can only be avtivated with ctrl-a if no textfile is included?

Oh I didn't mean to cause that.

But,
is it really so rare for a timeline with multiple tracks, many clips and multiple effects, such as titles in numerous places, to want to activate super scale and clip attributes with ctrl-a
I thought that this could be possible and I don't have to render everything, then export it and import it again as one clip. Here the titles are part of the clip and clip attributes can be used I know.

All I wanted to know is, is there an easier way. Thats all, thanks

I'm still lost.

Are you saying that the CTRL+A shortcut is opening Clip Attributes? Or that you want it to?

I am really sorry.
So for clarification:
With ctrl-a I, of course, only open the way to be able to use clip attributes. But if i use the shortcut ctrl-a and there are textfiles between the selected clips, and if I then rightclick, the clip attributes can't be called anymore. They are no longer available as an option here. But if I remove the textfiles, then ctr-a leads me again to the option of the clip attributes.

I hope that you will not be lost any longer

Greetings

Ahhh, I think I got it now.

Text files don't have Clip Attributes, so if you include those in your selection, the option won't appear. Only things you can do to all selected clips will show.

In version 17.1. final you can call clip attributes for video, audio and textfiles via ctrl-a by right-clicking on an audio clip, not on a video clip.
