Davinci 17 Bad Design?!

PostMon Mar 08, 2021 11:10 am

Hello you all.

How Markers in the Edit page are not the same as in the Fairlight's?
I mean, in the field Name, for example, the edit page makes it empty and adds the Name in the Notes.

What about tracks reorder in the Edit Page? Is that so difficult to make it like in the Fairlight page? Here you can move them as simple as you can drag it up or down in the list.

And right click menus? Double click? Is it possible to create some logic? I mean, ricght click menus are the best and fastest way to exist in a software like this...

because shortcuts are... ah... a mad world. Why are they different in Edit and Fairlight page? Why the blade, just as an example, has two shortcuts? One for each page?

Davinci is really the best, I mean, the best, but this simple things are annoying and keep our work less imersive. And that's bad. Not that bad, but enough.

Thanks for reading this!

Thanks.

I love this piece of software, but why is this keep happening?

I'm no programmer, but this seems to be something simple to fix, i suppose!

Organizing, cutting, editing, sfxs, sound and deliver in just one package is a real big job! And THANKS for this. It is free and it is awesome!

I'd love to hear some ideas about it, if someone knows why. :-)

Cheers!
