Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me answer a few questions about Davinci 17.

1. How do I exit the compound clip timeline? That is when you make a compound clip and then open it in another timeline to edit components. I don't know how to get back to the main edit page.
2. how can I have the wave form visible on the audio track within the edit page?
3. how can I fade audio tracks within edit page?

Please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Rubin

I can't answer your compound clip question as I don't use them. As to the others....

1. There are a couple of ways. If you have Stacked Timelines enabled, you can just click back on the main timeline tab. If you don't, in the lower left corner, you can just double click on the main timeline to go back.

Some of the dividing lines between track headers and other panels can be moved to expand or reduce the size of items. If you hover the mouse curser over a movable line this symbol will appear. Click on it and hold down the left mouse button to move.

Thank you Jim, that is exactly what I was after. Funny, that it was in the same place that Charles showed me about the audio wave form, in the Timeline View Options.

That is very kind of you to take time to help me out on this.
Thank you both.

Wishing you well.

Best regards
Rubin
