Just want to report that my Davinci Resolve 17 ALWAYS complete stop work when trying to keyframe the horizontal and vertical strength of the gaussian blur effect inside fusion tab.

The work around i found was pretty simple, just duplicate the video and put the blur as the foreground on the merge layer then keyframe by the alpha level.

It's an old bug, I have no idea why it hasn't been fixed yet.
Turn off the Gang and connect Horizontal and Vertical together with expression.

I ran a simple test with an HD clip as below.



X/Y were Unlocked and I had no issues keyframing the parameters separately in Studio 17 for Windows using a (rather modest) 4 GB GTX 970.

I don't know how to use expressions yet...

It's very simple in this case.
You connect Vertical to Horizontal and animate only Horizontal (or vice versa).

Thanks, I noticed this in 17.1 studio, but this GIF helps me too
