DaVinci Resolve 17, timeline doesn't play
Posted: Mon Mar 08, 2021 9:36 pmJust upgraded to 17 today, after using 16 without this issue. Every time I do anything to the timeline (add media, adjust media position, literally perform any action whatsoever), the media on the timeline becomes blue boxes and the playback stops working. I'm still able to make adjustments, but without actually seeing or hearing what's happening. If I save the project and restart DaVinci, the changes I made are there, and playback works--until I perform any action, then it stops again.
It seems an inefficient solution to restart the program each time I make any adjustment, so I'm hoping someone here can help me solve this!
