Ongoing Audio issues R17

So for the past few versions i've noticed some issues exporting movies and audio sync problems.
If you have timeline footage that has separate audio files sync'd in, maybe one audio file for X number of clips and you export as individual clips then the resulting transcodes will not be in sync, each exported file will include the separate audio, but they will both start at the record start point - not timecode. If you export a single file then the resulting file *will* be in sync. But if i am transcoding 200 shots to handed off then i cannot go one by one... This has been in Resolve for as long as i can remember and i have reported it numerous times.
With audio in general though:
- Can i unlink an external audio file from a video clip? I think once it has be sync'd it maintains that link. Even if i go into Clip Attributes, delete the audio channels and set them to embedded audio only - that link to the external audio file is still in the video clip somewhere.
- I have some files which are 7 frames out (between video and audio - god knows how). But i was hoping i could offset the audio files in TC but this doesn't appear to work. Are there some time line techniques for slipping audio quickly. At the moment i have to unlink a clip. Adjust in and out to make resolve think that the audio has room to slip. Slip X frames and link. The issue is that Resolve isn't really taking into account the external audio has a longer run time than the embedded audio - which i can kinda understand
Bit of a dense one here but i am sure there are people reading this that know audio in resolve better than me and hopefully i am just doing something wrong!
cheers
