Thank you, if you want to help. But I already wrote, that this exactly is my problem and this was not working.
There was no entry in the Windows Software lists for uninstall it.
After trying more and more, also with "JV16 Powertools", I found in this thread...
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90351.... finally I could uninstall. I am not sure what was the trick to make it appear in windows "programs menu list" again.
I also edited the registry, the "installation" path was not set in the registry entry of Davinci. Perhaps that got it back. Or it was because I switched to admin account. But normally that's not needed for uninstall any other software.
Anyway, would be much better when your Davinci Resolve "installation menu" manage this. The menu should also let you choose "repair installation" (install the same version again), and also "uninstall" if an installed version is found. Then no problem occur.
And ... of course ...
if the installation file of a lower Davinci Version is started, the setup also should assist you to uninstall the newer version and install the older version, in one go.
If in updates are problems like this...
