Well, it is - but isn't.
My daughter and I have both been taking VFX-online course.
Today in the lesson about Chroma Key, we had to use a BSpline around the 'ozzy' character.
(
with guitar)
1: Keyframe the beginning (
sometimes it auto keyframes - sometimes you have to do it)
2: Go to the end and select all and drag the Bspline to 'ozzy's' new position - using the middle widget
2b: Check out the first frame, and... Doh! (Didnt keep!)
Solution:
Apparently you just cant select all and drag the main arrows/widget around...
... you have to select all - then click on the tiniest little node (any) and drag it in order for it to recognize that it needs to set the keyframe.
(
Dont worry - if you click the keyframe after repositioning 'ozzy' using the main middle widget - you will still have NO luck... only moving the tiny nodes will do it for you.)
VERY confusing to noobs, and (
old people alike)
*ease of use* with Fusion sometimes... well, doesn't feel that intuitive
Hoping Fusion gets some love in 18 (
as it has listed the least amount of updates listed with 17)
There really isnt that much material for Fusion like AE online for learning- so here is hoping that somehow Fusion becomes a thing that people can easily transition to.
Thanks for listening!

Lets try to keep it that way.
