Copy a node form one clip to other take from time to time the whole node tree instead just the node. Our workaround: first move the node you want copy around and then copy it.

(We have don't test it with 17.1 because this version don't work correct).

Copy paste is focused based in 17.0.
17.1 offers an option to make it node only or focus based.

Thanks Peter,
Good to know. But we can't update to DR 17.1 for the moment because of other issues ( see: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=136709 )

You just need to make sure the Nodes panel is active before Copying or Pasting.

Thanks, but if I copy a single node between different clips the node panel is active always. It's like Peter says. Will check out "node only or focus" option with 17.2 (because 17.1 don't work for us).

By default, it's not. The act of selecting the other clip will make the Clips panel active. You then need to click back in the Nodes area to make it active again.

With the Preference Peter was talking about, then it behaves as it used to in previous versions.

Thanks very much Jim,
but like I said 17.1 don't work on our system because of massive playback issues ( viewtopic.php?f=21&t=136731 ). So we are still on 17.0 and this version don't have this option as Peter explained.

Yes, that's true. You'll have to manually click in the Nodes are again to make it active.
