Missing Codec error

I'm new to Blackmagic cameras (and to filmmaking in general).
I shot some test footage on the BMPCC 6K Pro in Ultra HD Pro Res 422 and when I try to watch the files on my laptop get the error message:
Missing Codec
This item was encoded in a format that's not supported.

When trying to import the same files to DaVinci Resolve Studio 17 I get an error message about file types not being supported (they're MOV files).
Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
