DaVinci 17/17.1 color management problem (possibly a bug?)

I found some strange behavior of DaVinci Resolve with DJI I2 ProRes/D-Log footages.
DaVinci ignores "Input color space/Gamut" settings in Color Management for those files.
To force those settings to work, I should set "Input Color Space" to "Project" manually on the MEDIA page (at least it is possible to do for all clips altogether).
According to MediaInfo, the source files are tagged as REC709, which definitely is not correct (they are taken in EI mode, in D-LOG).
Is it expected behavior, or is it a bug (which I suppose it is?)
