Running without a grphics card

PostSun Mar 14, 2021 3:27 pm

Older versions of Resolve would run, with limited functionality, on a computer without an OpenCL etc graphics card. I found this fine for doing some audio work in Fairlight.

However, 17 will not run without recognising a suitable graphics card so use for audio only is no longer possible.

I am wondering if there is a hack to enable 17 to run so that it can be used for basic audio work as Fairlight does not exist as a stand-alone application?

Fairlight was not a part of Resolve at those times.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
