Shared Node Error: Davinci Resolve 17

I've encountered an issue within Resolve where I will create my node, click "save as shared node" and all of the work that I've done will be completely rescaled fro no apparent reason. I could go through and recreate the work but I feel that defeats the point of the feature. Specs below:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz (8 CPUs)
NVIDIA GeForce MX150
16384MB RAM
Resolve 17.0 Build 39
