Timelapses Showing Zoomed Out

PostWed Mar 17, 2021 10:50 pm

Hi,
I've been working on a project and I've been updating some DaVinci preferences and settings. I can't think of anything I did that would change the timelapses, but now they are all zoomed out -- so there's a huge black border around them and you can see the frame warping with the stabilization. This does not appear when exporting. This happens for every single time-lapse even across separate projects. I have looked through all the settings and preferences once, twice, three times... can't find anything. I was able to fix it for one of the clips that has DNG by changing the processing attributes but not any that are sourced from JPEG. What did I screw up?

Thanks!

Okay, I actually ended up encountering a thread that didn't at first seem to be exactly my issue but actually solved the problem... or, put a band-aid on it at least. You can find the thread here: viewtopic.php?t=127177&p=693238

Anyways, the part that worked for me was the "render in place" function when right-clicking the clip.
I have also come to wonder, did this occur when I updated from the beta 17 version to the release? I did update after I started the project, so it's possible that's just it and this is a bug.
