I've upgraded Resolve without a problem a number of times but the changeto 17 has be stumped. Trying to upgrade to 17.0 I get the error message "the featue you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable

there is a source location which does not appear to exist - c:\users\user\appdata\local \temp\{etc etc

I've downloaded 17.1 and the error is the same

I'm not sure what to try next

Someone else reported this error recently. Don't recall where it landed.

You have Unzipped the downloaded file?

Your Documents folder is in its default location on C:?

You're installing Resolve to the default location on C:?

You don't have any removable or networked drives attached?

Hi Jim

file unzipped in downloads on drive C:

documents folder on drive C
installing to drive C
I have a number of networked drives attached - RAID servers

The setup hasn't changed since I installed Resolve 15 and updates have always been seamless

Try removing the networked drives and reboot.
