Beginner question

Hello Forum,

I am a complete beginner as I do not work with editing programs.
I'm trying to make a small video for a friend and I want the Star Wars scrolling text to be in it.

Now I wanted to represent the word Star Wars with Stroke
See Attachment1

Unfortunately, I can't find that in my options.
See Attachment2

Is this because I am using the free version of DaVinci Resolve?
Thanks for reading and also for the help if you can help.

Well, since I have strokes for basic title text, it may be a limitation of the free version.

BTW, this is an English language forum and you may not get many answers if the headline is in German, but your text in English ;-)

There is a German forum for DaVinci Resolve: http://www.davinci-resolve-forum.de
And a pretty good YT channel in German: www.youtube.com/channel/UCvWX4d2hCmnrIOKJWHX-KOg

Stroke works fine in the free version.
Here are black letters on a black background with a white Stroke added.
Adding a white Stroke to white letters will not show up, it will just make them a little fatter.

This title has a drop-shadow and Stroke added to pull it out of the background.

Ok now I have one that says it's in the free and one that says it's not.
@Charles Bennett if it is in the free version why is it not showing up for me? I haven't changed anything, I just installed and used Resolve.

A late reply I'm afraid. I am using the free version. You can see my title settings in the Inspector in the pic.

And I only wrote it "may" not be in free, since I can't test that.
