DNXHR HQ - Masters - Constant Bitrate or nay?

Shooting with P4K 12:1 4K DCI @ 75/25, what settings do you use or should I use for master exports? Currently doing DNXHR HQ but not too sure whether I should have the constant bitrate checked or not. A lot of the scenes are "high" contrast, involving shadows/highlights pushed and foliage from outside (for instance my real estate jobs).

This box in Resolve has no real meaning (it's for ProRes). It should be graded out for DNxHR. As you found out- it only causes problems when ticked and I've seen same issue.
DNxHR can be VBR which is part of its the spec, but I don't think there is any tool generating VBR streams.
