Cannot import MP3

Hey all, new user, seasoned editor.
Loving Resolve 17 Studio so far, but cant find a solution for this...
I simply cannot import an MP3. All other files seem fine, dragging it or using the dialogue box doesnt work, file plays fine in other apps, other MP3s do not import as well.
I'm on Window's 10, new machine. Any clues? Thanks!

Strange, they work fine here, even if I'd avoid using MP3 in production wherever possible.
Can you post a sample?

I mean it's hard to post an example of it not working. I double click to import and nothing happens. Dragging it it, nothing happen. No error message, just ... nothing.

As sample of the file, to see if it's working in other peoples installations.

While .mp3 is officially supported, it's not a good idea to actually use it.
I recommend using only .wav files for post-production. There are free convertors if needed.

MP4 is a digital multimedia container format and Mp3 is an audio format.
