V17.1

I have a timeline set to 2560x1440. The Video Monitoring section is set to HD1080p 24. The Intensity Pro is using the Timeline Format dimensions and not the Video Monitoring dimensions and it is showing significant overscan cutting out a good chunk of the footage.

Go to Timeline Settings (right click on timeline in bin) and check your Output tab settings. Timelines can have individual output settings.

Also check the Project Settings Output Scaling section to ensure you have the correct scaling selected for mismatched resolutions.

OK, so I checked what you suggested and I can confirm that the Intensity Pro is abiding by the output settings and NOT the monitor settings.

If the timeline monitor settings are set to 10080p/24 and the output is set to the timeline settings, the image is cut off.

Changing the output settings to 1080p and the Intensity Pro image is NOT cut off.

The problem is if the output tab is set to 1080p then moving to the deliver tab sets the output resolution to 1080p not the timeline resolution of 2550x1440.

PS. If there's any question as to why the odd resolution for the output. It's all to do with Youtube. YT only applies the VP9 codec to 1440p resolution or higher. VP9 is the better codec that looks great. The lower-end codec, AV01 gets applied to all 1080p resolutions on channels with low playback counts. To get the better codec you need to force YT by uploading the larger resolutions. 1440p is a good halfway to full 4k which would take longer to render and kills the "shoot wide & reframe" approach I have adopted.

maybe desktop video setting overwrite the DR output setting?
