Hi,

The DR 17.1 reference manual makes several references to
T-bar panel of the DaVinci control panel

Can someone tell me if this a hardware control panel or wether it refers to a screen/panel within the application and if so where exactly is it?

Thanks in advance

If I'm not totally mistaken, the left panel of the Advanced Panel is called "T-Bar panel" because it has this image wipe lever that looks like a T.

Some of the references

page 202
To turn Use Proxies on and off, do one of the following:
‚ Choose Playback > Proxy Mode > Half Resolution, Quarter Resolution, or None.
‚ Press PROXY ON/OFF on the T-bar panel of the DaVinci control panel (Defaults to
the last proxy resolution you selected from the menu. Half is the default if you haven’t
selected a resolution yet.).

page 208
Press CACHE MODE on the T-bar panel of the DaVinci control panel to toggle among
the available options.

Page 2592
To adjust a wipe in the Viewer, do one of the following:
‚ Drag the pointer within the Viewer to move the wipe.
‚ Push the T-bar control up and down on the T-bar panel of the DaVinci control panel.

It's looking more like the manual is talking about a hardware panel which is certainly out of my range!

Yeah, the wording in the manual definitely needs to be fixed so that it specifically refers to the "Davinci Resolve Advanced Panel", which is the only panel with a T-bar.

So is "Davinci Resolve Advanced Panel" a hardware or software panel?
