We are thinking of using the mini panel in all of our color suites, but we found two essential problems working with it.
The first thing is that with some manufacturers we don't have the same jumps with the Raw Controls between the UI and the Panel, in Arri for example the jumps in Color Temperature is different.
Also, If you can work with Arri and make all the raw controls adjustable by (1) values it would be great, Sony has done a great job there for example!
The second thing is that we feel some controls are not quite near and ergonomic, for example, Offset, Contrast and Saturation are really separated, and we were used to work with the Tangent Element and this panel let us touch like 5 controls at the same time, for example: Contrast, Saturation, Offset, Lift and Gamma.
It will be great if the Panel can be remapped, this will be amazing, because every colorist will adapt the panel for their necessities.
