Stereoscopic 3D project Studio 17

PostWed Mar 24, 2021 11:28 pm

I have a stereoscopic 3D project, a multimedia art exhibit, that was shot on the Samsung Round 360. I've edited the project in Adobe Premiere Pro which also includes 2D video footage and graphics. The cut looks amazing viewed in an Oculus Go or Rift.

I've exported an XLM (6 tracks of video, 4 tracks of sound) to open in DaVinci Resolve 17. I've checked the manual however I am unable to find out how I may load and properly view the layers of the project and shots that I'd like to grade.

I'm having problems grasping the workflow. In Premiere you can simulate VR with VR mode to view all the layers properly. In Davinci they layers are viewed stacked on top of each other.

Any advice would be very much appreciated, thanks.

You might be the trailblazer on this one.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
