How to Substract from a Qualifier Matte?

Hi,

I try to substract a part from a qualifier matte with power windows.

But i can only ad something to the qualifier matte with power windows.
The invert and exclude switch in power windows only affects other windows not the qualifier matte.

Is there an other way to substract from qualifier matte with power windows
than using the key mixer?

You can create a new window within a node, and use the MASK function to exclude whatever you don't want from that qualifier. I do it all the time for occlusions, like when I've relit one actor and then another character walks in front of them: the second mask just covers up the walking character so they're excluded from the correction.

Hi Marc,

i have to explain it a bit further.

I want to combine a Qualifier and Windows. The resulting matte should be in one node for using with 'match move' (for skyline replacement etc.).

But if i use Power Windows with a Qualifier i can only ad matte (black). Doesn´t matter if the window is inverted or not.
in other words i can´t make parts of the Qualifier matte tranparent again. I can only ad opaque matte with the power windows.

I know this is possible with a key mixer but seems unnecessary complicated.
