doesn't play anymore

I'm so sad I can get the media to show other than black. even old videos. the play button wont work at all.

I'm having the same problem. this is setting me back significantly. the media I import looks black, the timeline is black. the play button won't play anything. I had no problems with DR16 and DR 17 worked for a time but constantly crashed. now it does not play anything. the timeline is black. the clips are fine when I play them form my computer.

I'm having the same problem. black timeline and media and wont play. have uninstalled 17 and reinstalled 17, 6 times. i tried to install 16 but it would not let me.
it wont let me add the DxDiag file. Lord help me. what do I do now?

Can you please detail your OS and system, inc the specific GPU and the clip type you are trying to play?
