Resolve not loading large project

Hello! My resolve project freezes while loading and shows no errors. The program locks up and I have to close it with task manager (on Windows).

No other projects seem to have an issue, and the one project is using clips from several hard drives and one of them is not currently connected. Thinking this might be the cause?

These are my specs.

AMD Ryzen 7 1700x Eight Core 3.4 GHz
32 gig ram
GTX 1070 8 GB

That shouldn't happen, Resolve would show missing files simply as offline media.

I just updated to 17.1 from 17 and the missing drive is not listed in media storage. The program is still freezing when I try to load the project.

The NFO file is over 2 mb and it says 'The extension txt is not allowed.'
