Activation Card Missing from Product

Hi everyone,

I just received in the mail my DaVinci Resolve studio activation card. It came in the official packaging and was sealed in plastic. When I opened the package, the SD card with the software was there, but the Activation card was nowhere in sight. I can give the serial number from the back of the packaging as well as my receipt of purchase if need be.

Just in case you should do this then go the BM website support page and scroll to the bottom to find customer support and choose one of the options to contact them.

i have the same problem, ordered from Bhphotovideo, wait 2 months++ and received a sealed packaged, free keyboard, SD card, but not activation card, you already received any response from blackmagic?

there is no card IN the box !
DR folder with card is delivered additionally

thanks for reply, yes, i received a folder, with indications a pointing arrow: Davinci Resolver Activation Card, please chek picture. Bhphotovideo support says i need to contact Blackmagic support, and Blackmagic support says to contact bhphotovideo. I checked and i received the SD card, but not Activation card in paper, i receveid all sealed and not sings of manipulation. thanks

If you have your invoice and the packaging it should show the product name and serial number. You would need this as proof of purchase for a claim with either party.

Basically, it depends on what you bought.

If you bought the Speed editor, then you get the Speed Editor only, No DR17 license.

If you bought the DR17, it came with the free Speed Editor.

I too received the Speed Editor only. I returned it and bought DR 17 with the free Speed Editor.

Blackmagic won't help you on this. There are going to be a lot of refurbished/ open box Speed Editors flooding the market.
