I want to buy the DaVinci Resolve Studio Edition, but now is my Question should I buy a dongle or activation Key?
Does one of this have benefits?
Can you please answer in German, when you give me an answer, because my English is not so good.

A dongle can be lost, while you can make a copy if the key and store it in safe place.
Now that the key works for both Resolve and Fusion in version 17 and you can use it on two machines, I'd take the key.
In German: Kauf den Key. Details in deutschen Forum:

But a dongle allows me to run both Resolve and Fusion studio on my machines and allows you access to both programs for $300 USD.
With that said, the dongle can be lost or stop working, and BM will NOT provide a replacement dongle.

Since Blackmagic Fusion version 17, the Activation key for DaVinci Resolve (any version) is valid also for Fusion.

I thought I mentioned that.

EDIT:
There are sometimes troubles with the activation of the key (switching to a tethered mobile connection helps), but personally I do like the dongle more. But that one does occupy an USB port.
You can activate two devices with one key.

Let's be polite, guys, this is an English language forum, I have linked the German one.
The question was if you may run the key at the same time on two machines.
Yes, you can. IIRC it should be yours and not two different owners. This can be very helpful if you have a second machine to prepare footage, like transcoding, or logging new stuff while the other one is rendering. After all, DR is not capable of doing such tasks in the background, as others do. So, running two machines is compensating for this to some degree, if well organised.
(Doch, auch gleichzeitiger Betrieb ist erlaubt.)
