Fairlight Desktop Console

Ordered in November. Paid in full @B&H.
Still backordered.

WTF?

B&H charged you? Normally they wait till it's shipped.

Well they are discriminating, in a literal acceptance, against foreigners (aliens) or PayPal users.
But the problem is not here as I do trust this retailer.
BMD boasted a December release and we are nearly April.
No explanation whatsoever...

I'm guessing you're talking about the Blackmagic Design Fairlight Desktop Console USB Control Surface?

If so, that's a special order, non-returnable item, so I can see why B&H charged you before sending it. They didn't want you to cancel since they won't be able to return it to BMD.

It's unfortunate that it hasn't been supplied after all this time, but this sort of thing seems to be quite common with BMD and some other manufacturers these days. Even the big ones (like Sony) sometimes do this.

If it hasn't been sent from BMD yet, you can probably cancel the order and get a refund if you ask B&H.

Yes, correct.

Actually, here is BH policy for ALL orders:
Orders billed to PayPal, other digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay or Google Pay) or non-USA addresses will be charged immediately upon checkout.

Yes, I'm sure I could get a refund....but, I'm afraid, that doesn't solve the problem.

If you define the problem as "not having the panel", your only real option may be just...wait.
