I can't seem to connect the speed editor to the Davinci Resolve ( suddenly ) . It worked about 2 months ago and now its not.

My Win10 PC is fully up-to date and I made sure all the BT drivers are also latest. Speed editor does not come ON once project is opened in DR.
I also used 2 different external BT adaptors, same result. One I just purchased as others recommended with these types of problems.


Windows can't seem to remove it either, if I try in the Bluetooth remove it , it fails:



Windows :
Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042


Davinci Resolve:
Version 17.1 build 24


Any suggestions ?

If Windows cant remove it its looking like a windows issue.

I would make sure Windows is up to date. Do it several times and also make sure all the temp files are deleted. Then make sure recycle bin is emptied too. Restart Windows and see if it is still there or if you can then remove.

I have done a full win10 reinstall (before I read your post ) and I'm able to delete it from Bluetooth connections.

However, now the speed editor connects but SNAP and JOG LEDs stay ON and inside the DR it still doesn't work.

Any other options/ ideas ?

Run the DaVinci resolve panels app resolve installs with v17.x and if it sees the speed editor select the icon in the center to see if it needs an update
