Best disk setup

Hi:
Im running DR on a Mac Pro 2019, 12 core, 256 GB Ram.
I have 3 internal disks:
A- 1 TB SSD with system and DR (from apple)
B- 4 TB SSD raid system from OWC (very fast)
C- 16 TB HDD raid

I usually connect media with an SSD drive in thunderbolt 3.
I work with 8k 50 fps projects.

I need advice on how to use the media.
- Where should I place the raw media? Should I import it to an internal drive or leave it in the SSD disk and have it read from there? If imported to which drive?
- Should I export the project to the HDD drive?

Thank you

So here's what I use and recommend.

System drive (nothing project related)
Databases drive
Export drive
Media drive
Gallery/Cache/Proxy/Optimized Media drive

All internal, using externals only for backup and archiving.

It's fast, and well organized. :)

Very interesting setup Jim!

Just for curiosity, what kind of drives (type and capacity) do you use for each one?
I will be building a PC and would like to consider your setup seriously.
