Master clips concept

PostWed Mar 31, 2021 4:58 am

I just start to work with resolve, sorry for my noobness. I manage to do almost all I need with the program. However I can't answer something:
I come from a humble adobe flash animation environment. There I use to work with Movieclips concept. Is something like a master clip that you could use across your project. Sometimes is was a basic animation but sometimes it was form by a nested animation tree.
So if you adjust something in the original movieclip, the rest are updated. I wonder if there is something similar in Davinci ?

Nested Timelines and Compound Clips would be the equivalent, I think.

As a new user, your first course of action should be to complete some Resolve training. The Beginner's Guide and Advanced Editing are an excellent groundwork to get you moving smoothly. ;)

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
