Fusion applies transparent edge to large images

When in Fusion a hires jpeg image is selected as MediaIn a wide transparent edge is added to the MediaIn:

This transparent edge is also applied when the image is used as a texture for a sphere (for example) and therefore not covering the entire shape:

A smaller image doens't have this problem:

Before you add the image from your Media Pool in Fusion, make sure that under Projects Settings you have the Image Scaling>Input Scaling set to Center Crop No Resizing. This will open it full size in the Fusion viewers.
