Resolve 17 Noise Reduction Glitch

Hey everyone,

I got a weird one that I can't seem to find a solution for online anywhere. I know that noise reduction is pretty taxing to your system, but in Resolve 16 whenever I disabled the node playback would go back to normal. When I do the same thing in 17 it stills acts like noise reduction is on and makes the program completely unusable until I quit and restart. Is anyone else dealing with this issue/know a solution? Thanks!

Just tried to reproduce.
I have a clip with NR ON running at about 15 fps.
When I turn NR OFF it runs at full 23.976 fps.
So I am not able to reproduce the error.
Using newest version of 17 released today.

There are a LOT of reasons why playback might not be full speed, Jack. But you don't offer us any details about your system, media, project settings, timeline settings, etc. So it's difficult to speculate.

Yea the thing is that it's happening over multiple systems all having different specs, they are beefy computers as well. This never happened in Resolve 16 on any of them but continues to happen in Resolve 17 even after updating to the full version. Just wasn't sure if this was a problem with just me or if other people are experiencing it.

Can report that Noise Reduction absolutely destroys the functionality of Davinci Resolve Studio 17 on the M1 MacBook Air (16GB)

Spatial is pretty heavy, but Temporal bring timeline rendering to a complete halt. 0 fps. The GPU goes crazy. The rest of the app works fine, you just can see anything you're editing!

I wanna use the MacBook Air to play with projects when away from the desk. So far it's been marvellous on the 4K content and has exceeded my expectations. Just have to steer clear of the NR tab
