Error un-installing DaVinci Resolve Studio 17.1

I tried to install 17.1.1 but it failed while trying to take off 17.1.

I got the same error using "Add or remove programs" in Windows when trying to uninstall 17.1 manually.

The 17.1.1 installer fails to uninstall 17.1...

I ran the Microsoft tool below to scrub DaVinci off my system (registry) and was then able to install 17.1.1. Note that every version of DaVinci 17 has installed without issue on the same laptop, until now. I don't know what all the "troubleshooter" did but assume it deleted the old registry keys. At that point 17.1 still functions normally but is not in the list to remove on "Add or remove Programs", so I just installed 17.1.1 over the top of 17.1. Who knows what I'll have to go through next time...
