Problem when changing project settings in DR Studio 17.1.1

Hello,

After updating this week to DR 17.0 and 17.1.1-Studio Version (from DR 16 studio version) I get into major problems every time I change the project settings. What happens is that every little change in the project settings (e.g. fairlight target loudness level or proxy media resolution...) will cause my color grading to change immediately (both in the viewer and in the rendered video). And these changes in the project settings cannot be fixed with the "undo"-button.

Has anyone encountered this problem yet and found a solution?

This software bug cost me many business hours today. Therefore, I would be grateful for help.

Best regards,
Valentino

OS: Win 10 Pro

Sounds related to this bug, which was fixed in 17.1 ...

The only Project Settings I can think of which would affect color are those under Color Management or Camera RAW.

Well thank you for your replies but that is no help for me. I feel like being a test person for the new Davinci Resolve 17 release. This version is not usable for me. I need to be able to adjust project settings without the direct change of my color grading (this must be a joke blackmagic!).

Has anyone another suggestion what to do?

Otherwise I will switch back to DR 16.

You may have to wait for staff help, offering a .dra that shows the issue.

Hi Val Schubek,

As Jim mentioned, it'll be good if you can send us a sample project which shows this issue. Please try to send us a project archive (.dra) which includes media. You can upload on dropbox (or parallel) and send us a link.
