This was really easy in Premiere Pro but can't figure out how to do this in Davinci Resolve, so I am asking for help. Thanks in advance.

I want to have a PIP clip that is zoomed into the subject's mouth with "mouth" tracking enabled.

Around 4:09.

Thanks!

You can duplicate your clip and put it on the Track above, then crop it and use the position controls in the Inspector to reposition it where you want.

But if I do that, it's impossible to track the mouth movement within the PIP clip. :(

Just a thought, but what if you take the clip, do the zoom and tracking and then render out a new clip? Take that clip and place it above the original as xunile suggested.

That seems to be the way to do it in Resolve, but I wanted to know if there were more elegant solution.

Thanks.

EDIT: I've got an answer from someone on Facebook group to use anchor point animation. Used it with compound clip and it's working great! :)
