Unresponsive after updating to 17.1

Since updating to 17.1 Resolve has been quite unresponsive, it keeps freezing for one or two seconds every 20 seconds or so when I make a cut/edit somewhere

Is there any settings I need to check to see if I can fix this or just rolling back?

Rolled back and nothing changed

Turned off 'LIVE SAVE' and now the stuttering and unresponsiveness has stopped, no idea why as I've used live save since I started with Resolve and it's never been an issue before this past week

You're database in located on an internal drive?

I can't believe I didn't even think of that, no I moved it to an external one the other day with a huge project and needed some space...
