Live save causing performance issues

I thought it may be because my databse was on a different hard drive but I swapped it back to my SSD and it is still happening
With Live saved turned on it causes Resolve to act a lot slower and often freeze up for a second when doing edits

This only started happening last week so not sure what the cause is, anyone else experiencing it?

I had this problem last year, it started suddenly and it lasted some weeks. No idea what was the cause of this.

Here is my thread I opened last year: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=120384

The database is on an internal drive?

OK.

What you're seeing isn't normal. Under Preferences>System>Media Storage, are there any removable or network drives on the list? Is that SSD the first entry on the list?

Yeah it's the only one here sadly

Maybe it has something to do with the Nvidia drivers... I'm not sure they often cause issues, I'll keep playing around with everything to see what the cause could be it's just so weird when it comes out of nowhere

In my case it was related to the database, with a new empty database Davinci was fast and responsive.

Yeah had to make a new database, it seems like upgrading the database was the cause of the issue after looking at other threads mentioning the same thing, kinda sucks I enjoyed having everything there and no way can I be bothered to move all the projects over haha
