Embedded Wave in AAF issue

PostThu Apr 08, 2021 7:09 pm

I have just discovered that the embedded audio function in the ProTools AAF export setting will offset the audio within the objects to an earlier position. (17.1.1) But the PCM "works" if you do not use layered audio and remember that no objects that you want to export can be muted.

For layered editing in version 17, use the Timeline > Flatten Audio Track Layers command.

Since certain audio workstations ignore Muted Clips in an AAF it is advisable to use Clip Gain rather than muting (disabling) the Clip on the Timeline.
