No audio in media pool

When previewing clips under media pool, cut, and Edit, there is no audio for the clip. Everything is synced and it shows a waveform, but there is no play back. This has been an issue with the last 2 updates. Any Idea what I am doing wrong, or is this a software issue?

Also, is there a fix in the works to keep from having to assign audio bus with every project? If that is a feature, then whom ever came up with it needs to be sacked.

Both these audio issues create massive delays in editing

Another detail for the media pool issue: when playing back a clip from the media pool while under the edit tab, the audio that does come out is form the play head from the timeline. This makes for some real odd sound and it does not always play at the right speed, or direction.

What's your audio hardware?

Use system settings and its going though external speakers though the mobo audio.

OK.

Change that to Manual and set it up accordingly. Report back.

Set to Manual, and set up outputs, and now I can't get any audio outside of the fairlight tab, and I have to re patch the buses just to get that.

I did a full unistall and re-install and that is working at the moment
