DaVinci Resolve can\U2019t be opened

Trying to use Davinci Resolve 17
I have been getting the following:
\U201CDaVinci Resolve\U201D is damaged and can’t be opened. Delete \U201CDaVinci Resolve\U201D and download it again from the App Store.
So, I did this, and everything was ok, but now it has started again within 24 hours. I am not doing anything other than attempting to add titles to my clips. every time I hover over the title style choices resolve just crashes and then I get the same message.
I have deleted DR17 from applications (TWICE) and reinstalled (TWICE) but am getting the same message.
I am running MacBook Pro 2019
macOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3
Processor: 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
