Performance Tuning for Collaboration?

I'm looking for information on how to properly configure my network, workstations and servers for best performance in a DR17 collaborative environment. In our case, we have two Win10 workstations, a TrueNAS 12 media server, and a Mac Mini M1 project server.
Some specific questions I'm looking to answer:
It's very likely there are additional questions that I don't yet know to ask as well. Any help is appreciated!
Some specific questions I'm looking to answer:
- Our workstations and media server connect via 10Gb SFP+ fiber using a Mikrotik 5-port switch which uplinks to rest of the network via 1Gb copper. Does this meet the requirement to have the workstations and media server on their own subnet or is there more to it than this?
- Are jumbo frames recommended for best performance?
- Should IRPStackSize in Windows be adjusted? If so, how does one determine the ideal value?
- Is there a reason to prefer one file system (e.g. SMB or NFS) over another on the media server?
It's very likely there are additional questions that I don't yet know to ask as well. Any help is appreciated!
