Re-plugging Speed Editor causes a crash

PostMon Apr 12, 2021 5:06 pm

I'm sure someone is going to say "just don't do that" but I'm reporting it anyway because it's part of my workflow.
I have a speed editor that I share between two workstations via a switchable USB port on My KVM switcher.
I set My main workstation rendering out my project and then switch away to my second machine to begin preparing my next edit and all is well.
However if during that render I switch the KVM back to my main machine to check on the progress it will cause the render to fail and throw up an error message ( can't give details of that error right now but will post it up next time I make it happen) and freeze DR. I then have to quit DR and relaunch to be able to start the render process again.
My system details are in my sig.
Cameras: BMPCC OG, BMPCC4K, Sony A6400, GoPro 8, Insta360 One R.
Edit system:
Davinci Resolve Studio 18.X
BM Decklink 12G PCIe

Windows 11 Pro
Nvidia RTX3090 24GB
