Which codec is best for EOS 70d

Hi,
I am a bit lost with the codec. I did have a look around but...

My clips made with a EOS 70D are HD 1920x1080 with 25f/s, MPEG-4 AVC/H. 264 encoding, at variable bit rates in the . MOV format.
Would be "DNxHD 1080p 145/120/115 8-bit" codec be ok for me?
Further I understand that the part of the designation 145/120/115 is the transfer bit rate. Is that correct?
Thank you very much
Claude

I don't think so but I have already my clips. There are so many codex on Davinci that I just wanted to know if the one I choose out of wikipedia doc information is the best for my camera settings.

I'm not understanding.

The codec you choose for what, exactly?
